This exquisite ski in/ ski out Cedars Townhouse sits on the slope of the Breckenridge Ski Resort. This unit is conveniently located in walking distance from dining, shopping and everything Main Street has to offer. This native themed townhouse has a homey feel and sleeps a group of ten with its four-bedroom layout.


The living room/family area has a cozy gas fireplace with TV and a front table for games, socializing, and relaxing. The kitchen is fully equipped and has family seating for group meals. Upstairs the master bedroom has a king-sized bed with a full bathroom. The second room has a queen-sized bed with its own bathroom. The third and fourth bedroom are both set up with a two-level layout that both have twin bunk beds, thus four bunk beds are in the unit.


This unit has two parking spots. One parking spot is in the attached private, one-car garage and parking for the second vehicle is an uncovered spot near the unit. Guests have access to the indoor/ outdoor Upper Village Pool facilities located directly across the street. The Upper Village Pool has a heated indoor/outdoor pool and three separate jetted hot tubs. This amenity is seasonal and the facility will close during the shoulder seasons.

    I reviewed this unit last year with some suggestions on minor things to improve. We were pleasantly surprised at the nice upgrades to flooring, furniture, kitchen utensils, etc.

    A really good experience, mainly because of location and the Wood Winds Property Mgmt gals we worked with. We were seven guys and the unit was ideal in size, location and number of beds. We found a couple problems, but Wood Winds' priority was our satisfaction and happiness. Some of the mattresses had some age on them and the kitchen supplies could use some upgrading, but all in all, it was a great stay. If/when we come back to Breckenridge, returning here will be our goal.

    The best part about this unit is the location. The walkway to the slopes is across the street, and it is right next to the Quicksilver lift. The unit is not updated, but had everything we needed. The management company was very responsive and generous with our two requests.

    The only knock was no air conditioning which is understandable as most of their business is during the winter months. When we visited it got mid 80's. Later we found a closet full of fans.

    Our group of friends have been coming to Breck for 25 years and have rented this condo three times...This unit is truly ski in/ski out and an easy walk to all of the restaurants, shops and pubs on Main Street. For the location alone, this place gets 4 stars and it wouldn’t take much to make it 5 stars.
    The main bolt on the garage door is unusable with a key and the back door lock is a bit suspect too, the kitchen faucet definitely needs to be replaced, the knives were compared to cutting with a ruler, the toilet for the “bunk bed” bathroom is about to rock off it’s bolts, the furniture is in rough shape and there were 4 spoons for a 4 bedroom condo. A little TLC could easily make this a 5 star rating.
    Saying all of that, we will easily rent this unit again...you can’t beat The Cedars for their location!

    This place is very conveniently located next to the Quicksilver lift, Village for lessons, and walking distance to all the shops and restaurants on Main Street. The couch and the beds need to be updated. Several of the beds concave. The kitchenware needs to be replaced too. The knives are all dull and the pots and pans are all badly scratched. This place is all about the location. So just don’t plan to sleep well or cook anything fancy and you’ll love it.

    I'd describe the unit itself as adequate. It is outdated in every category, but the price reflects this. I could go on about what the place needs, but I'm sure others have done that already. This place is really about the location. It is a true ski in/out - very close to the quicksilver lift. We were all able to ski back for lunch; then hit the slopes afterwards. After checking in, we walked across the bridge, and down the slope a short distance to pick up rentals at Christy Sports (there are others very close as well). Many shops are all right there. We also walked to South Main St to eat, etc. Very convenient. We only used the car to go to the City Market for food & alcohol two times. (...and maybe a trip to the dispensary on airport rd). Wood Winds Property Management is always easy to work with - great communication. All on the up-and-up; no surprises; renting was very easy. It all worked out great.

    This is a fantastic house to stay in for Breck skiing. The house is steps from the slope and the base of peak 9, as well as a quick walk to downtown. The size and layout of the house is great for a family or large group. We hope to stay here many more times in the future!

    The unit is exceptionally close to the Quicksilver lift and a convenient walk to anywhere in the Village as well as the shops/restaurants on Main St. Unfortunately, that aspect is all this unit has going for it in my opinion. The decor, furnishings, appliances and dishes, etc...all felt very outdated and neglected. We were unable to get the fireplace to function and 3 out of 4 burners on the stovetop had to be lit by using paper towels from the 1 burner that would ignite. Given these things, I believe one would very reasonably have much higher expectations, especially at the price point for this condo. One warning that is no fault of the owner’s or Wood Winds’ is the number of stairs, as there are 4 flights to the uppermost level (loft bedroom). Wood Winds was professional and very helpful. My only complaint is that there isn’t a better system in place to receive and return the packet with keys to the unit. Having to stop by their office when both arriving and departing isn’t the easiest thing to coordinate when traveling by shuttle.

    We love staying in Cedars because the location is perfect. Close to downtown and great trails on peak nine. The unit worked well for our group and the plentiful sleeping spots. However, the unit needs some updating and work. The upstairs room is very hot and the sink in the upstairs bathroom has a leak. There are many windows with screens missing which makes it hard to get airflow and keep the temperature down during warmer summer days.
    The kitchen is overcrowded with too large of a table and side furniture that’s not needed. It is also in desperate need of some additional utensils (is. Spatulas, large spoons, cutting knives, etc).
    The unit was very clean and we enjoyed having laundry in our condo. Bottom line- great location and facility but would recommend spending some money to update and find a way to get airflow to the 3rd floor bedroom.

    The townhouse was okay. There were no screens on many windows which allowed many bees in to join us. The window coverings were limited so all of the rooms were light whenever the sun was up. There was no covering on the skylights which meant a nap for the toddlers was very difficult. There was a lot of furniture packed in - probably to accommodate a lot of people during the busy season. We felt like we were in a small room maneuvering our way around each other and the furniture. The beds were comfortable. The unit was well stocked and when we needed something, the property managers came in with it right away. It seemed very disorganized that we were told to drive out of our way to return our keys and then they were closed. We had to drive back to the townhouse to leave them there.
